We also loved that the property was decorated beautifully for Christmas, adding an extra touch of festive magic to our stay. Plus, the host, Debbie, was incredibly welcoming and helpful, ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout our visit.

One minor downside was the bumpy approach road to the property. It was a bit nerve-wracking to navigate in the dark, so we opted to stay in and enjoy the cozy atmosphere of the retreat rather than venture out at night.

The lodge was in a quiet location, away from the busy city center. It was nice to have some peace and quiet during our stay. The owner of the lodge was very helpful and provided us with useful recommendations for things to do in the area. The hot tub was a great addition and we enjoyed relaxing in it after a long day of exploring.

The lodge was a bit far from the city center, making it inconvenient to get to attractions and restaurants. Additionally, the breakfast offered was quite expensive for what was provided.

The location of the hotel offers a lovely quiet setting, while still being a short drive away from the heart of the city. the rooms are well-appointed, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. Guests particularly loved the huge double bed, which provided a great night's sleep. the host, Debbie, was fantastic, providing a warm welcome and ensuring the guests' needs were met.
